| The main area of responsibility for this developer will be the websites of Ghost Software and its family of companies. This immediately involves rebuilding the flagship site at www.ghost-software.com. Further family sites will be built around this model, and maintenance and updates will be made on a regular basis. Additionally, this developer will be working with the lead developer to produce market leading websites. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of all the latest web technologies. Knowledge and commercial experience of HTML, Javascript, .NET, classic ASP, PHP, SQL Server, mySQL are absolute necessities, but understanding and experience of other technologies are also valued. The candidate will be fully acquainted with the concepts of writing fully encapsulated, scalable code. Again, experience with a range of server platforms is also necessary - both Microsoft IIS and Unix based Apache. | |
