System Programmer

Description

Sapphire Consulting Services is seeking a System Programmer to work as a consultant for its client in U.S.A. The position will be of senior technical experts in the organization and will be expected to fill a vital role in the success of the IT organization. The Systems Programmer would be responsible for the strict adherence and will insure that all implementations meet department compliance policies, internal control procedures and industry best practices. Preference will be given to the candidates already residing in U.S.A.

Required Skills

• Responsible for the reliability, performance, recoverability and security of corporate iSeries server hardware, operating systems and certain infrastructure applications/solutions (like faxing, etc.).
• This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage and performance.
• Monitoring and the development of specialized procedures relating to the use of the iSeries distributed computing environment within the corporation.
