Description
Cosmopolit Offshore IT & Graphic is currently looking for Forms 10g and Oracle specialists with a solid theoretical background to join us is an upgrading/development project. You will be part of a team whose primary responsibility is to upgrade our existing system from a client/server environment based on Oracle Forms 6i and Oracle 9i to a web-based Forms 10g system built on Oracle Application server and Oracle 10g. Your work will take its point of departure in upgrading and further developing our existing GUI (Forms). The new developments must be performed in a Forms and J2EE environment using XML both for system-internal tasks and for data exchange between systems. Your tasks range from analysis and system design to programming assignments using the technologies of Forms 6i, Forms 10g and Oracle 9i and – 10g.
Required Skills
-A strong educational background, e.g. Master of Computer Science or Msc in Computer Systems Engineering. -Strong experience with bringing up to date and converting software from an Oracle Forms and PL/SQL environment to a Forms 10G and Oracle 10G environment. -Strong experience with Oracle databases. -Interest in and preferably experience with J2EE system development. -Preferably experience with XML and HTML. -A systematic and analytical approach to your tasks. -A strong sense of quality in relation to design and implementation.
