| · Setting up, maintaining and improving maintenance systems for the equipments MECHANICAL EQUIPMENTS – STATIONARY AND ROTRATING In all the operation areas, in compliance with the latest engineering standards and practices. · Prepares detailed equipment checklists for routine maintenance and the estimation of detailed manpower and skill requirements. Follows up on major maintenance work to keep abreast of conditions and to advice on spare part replacements, modifications or refurbishment. · Reviews annual requirements for mechanical materials, spare parts and equipments, advises on stock levels and material descriptions, and provides suggestions for alternatives or interchange ability of parts with other equipment in different company locations and inspection of expensive/critical items. · Technically evaluates the bids related to critical capital and spare part purchase requisitions and liaises with manufactures representatives for improvements to reduce cost in the most efficient way. · This position reports to the team leader- mechanical engineering support department in plant availability. | |
